Organise your visit with Myartspace

"The day was of tremendous benefit to the pupils and their history studies. The mobile phones were easy to use and the children were quickly off exploring the museum and making their own collections. I have not seen pupils so engaged or enthusiastic on a museum visit before."
History Teacher, Key Stage 3

"It beats a form on a clip board. You can really do something interesting with this!"
Student, Key Stage 3

"I love the lesson plans. They are clear, informative, easy to follow and inspiring. All the information you need is there. The pack is full of ideas of how to get to the learning goals in an interesting way. I think this is wonderful."
Art Teacher, Key Stage 3

School visits should always be fun but how do you encourage children to actively discuss and organise the information they come across? That's what Myartspace lets you do.

On the visit, School groups get mobile phones that allow everyone to collect objects, take photos and record sounds during their visit. As you collect objects you'll learn more about the things you find interesting.

General visitors can also make collections using a text message from their own mobile phones. Just ask for a postcard when you visit.

If you'd like to use Myartspace as part of an organised school visit, please contact one of our participating museums or galleries.
